Is Pop!_OS COSMIC good?

cosmic is okay-ish but I'll never understand why the bottom bar is so comically gigantic i literally laughed out loud the first time i saw it. cosmic epoch which is what most people mean when they say cosmic these days is pre-alpha unusable garbage i'd rather use a chromebook from 2010.

I hope smithay implements wayland 1.45 background effects so they can finally implement frosted glass.
It looks like ass from 2005 today.
