Debian will be ok for a while, but Linux will be more and more fractured. At some point all that is left are big corpos supporting it and you might as well just use windows.

the issue with this isnt cut and dry cause people like lundwick yap on and on about social political issues instead of just focusing on code. so its generally not a good look. so much like american politics its the left and right yelling at each other rather than real policy. meanwhile corpos like red hat do indeed continue to tighten their grip on control of the os.
I was gonna wait for Trixie, then this shit happened. Between Mint, Ubuntu, Devuan, and Arch, what would be better for me and my new PC I built a month ago?
