I spent $30 in api credits and have used it for normal chat or searches or whatever and ive barely used $1.70, it will probably last me several months given how often I use it. Its just I have to use it through a terminal or whatever. I can also have it save all chats to a txt log for easier copy pasting later. I have 0 desire to goon to the anime girl or ERP with grok. I've tried using it like a DM for a fantasy game and blasting spells but its so repetitive and somewhat predictable and you basically can gaslight it into you winning, with no overarching plot, plus every challenge ends up being the same as the one before, but with new words in the same general format if that makes sense. You recognize the pattern and it gets dull fast.
I hope for the gooners sake they get bored of it and move on. I suppose it could be sort of like the excitement I had genning stable diffusion waifus for a few days at a time obsessively when that was new.
