>News & Rumors
RTX 50 Super rumors: 5070 Ti Super 24GB, 5080 Super 24GB, 5070 Super 18GB

>Omissions
RTX 5070 Ti: buy if you need CUDA, if you value DLSS/Reflex that highly, and if the 5060 Ti 16GB or 5070 isn't performant enough.
RTX 5070: buy if it's reasonably priced & if you plan to work around potential VRAM bottlenecks.
RX 9070 non-XT: worth considering if it's significantly cheaper than the 9070 XT.

>Product Notice
AOC Q27G40XMN: nice budget 1440p miniLED monitor but inconsistent QC.
Bad one causes DisplayHDR setting to look overbrightened and desaturated when applying the best local dimming option.

Gigabyte RTX 50 & RX 9000 video cards: thermal gel has QC issues, Gigabyte claims only early production batches were affected.
https://www.igorslab.de/en/update-on-thermal-putty-on-gigabyte-graphics-cards-after-further-storage-oil-separation-to-an-alarming-extent-and-silence-as-a-strategy/

Avoid updating Gigabyte motherboard's RGB controller firmware, as it can disable board features such as Q-Flash Plus.

What's the current go-to for buying/selling used PC parts? R*ddit r/hardwareswap seems popular, but they have account age reqs which are probably impossible to get since r*ddit will auto-b& accounts for no reason now. eBay is an option but I'd like to avoid it as much as possible.

eBay is generally the safest due to its buyer protection refund policy.
If you buy parts from other places, you need to check they're working as advertised and the hardware is performing up to expectations.

I'm trying to sell. I'm more concerned with encountering weirdos that will try shit IRL. eBay does seem safer, but I'm not interested in having the transaction show up on my taxes.

To elaborate on my choice problem
>>105920363
>14400f is for sure going to bottleneck a 5070 in basically everything at 1080p. If you can't don't want a 9x50x3d why not like the i9+the 5070+1080p?
>>105920417 (You)
>Bottleneck how? I'm fine at bottleneck over 100fps, I'm only expecting comfortable 60fps.
>Yes better CPUs can get 20%+ out of 5070 but do I really need them on 1080p?

Also, I wanted to add: I want NVIDIA GPU for DLSS + FG + LLM reasons.

There is nothing I can buy in my shithole between RTX 3060 12GB (350 EUR) and RTX 5070 12GB (700 EUR) that is worth the money.

5060 Ti is also around 700 EUR.
4060 Ti is around 600 EUR.
4070 SUPER Ti are unicorns at 800-900 EUR.
There are no 4080 on the market at all.
Even 3090/3090Ti are rare at around 500-800 EUR used.
There is no middle ground between ๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿฌ ๐—ฎnd ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿฌ here, nothing is ๐—ฎv๐—ฎil๐—ฎble.

So yeah, 5070 is going to be bottlenecked by i5-14400F. But there's nothing NVIDIA sells here that I can buy cheaper than 5070.

The bottleneck won't be severe if it even exists.
14400F's P-Cores are better than a 12600's.

Well i9 14900K gives like 20-30 more fps in 1080p, so I would consider that bottlenecking: if you change CPU to more powerful one and game gives you more FPS. But that's between 100 and 130 or 120 and 150 fps, so negligible for 60hz monitor anyway.

Depends on the game title.
If the 14400 is capable of running online shooters at 300 fps and the 14900k @ 320fps, is it worth this concern?
You said you don't have the funds to make upgrades anyway.

You don't really care about helping people pick PC components.
When you completely exclude hardware options in the OP, there's always a handful of anons genuinely asking why Intel or NVIDIA are not reasonable options.
The OP and the omissions are meant to help those people, not me.

The only component I own in the OP is the DDR5 memory kit.
