>working as a dev in financial sector for years
>boss tries to motivates us by saying our project will bring additional 5B+ yearly (so work faster)
This made me sad and comtemplative about the injustice in the world, that i cannot do nothing about.

Im not ungrateful for my carrer, i like the quality of life i have attained bc i come from a poor family, have not against my boss as a person but damn. I was never one of those linkedin drones who really enjoy working and so on, my motivation was the money and the technical challenge. At same time i hope to never make any meaninful contribution to any of my current and future employers, wish they all went broke. This is conflicting since i have the motivation to go above the minimun and keep improving but i know that the better my work, the more you know who will benefit.

Theres nothing i can do to change the world, maybe i will do charity and volunteer work.

When I hit 25 and started to earn decent money I thought it was unfair.
Then I got my first bonus and I thought it was unfair.
Then my first options contract paid out which tripled what I paid into it when it matured and I thought it was unfair.
Then my investments started to do really well even though I have no idea what I'm doing and I thought it was unfair.
Then I got paid dividends equal to people's monthly income for holding shares and I thought it was ok.
Then I paid off my mortgage by 34 and I thought it was unfair.
Then the stock market crashed after I was sitting on a load of capital and I thought it was unfair
Then I dumped all my savings back in the stock market and doubled my money again and I thought it was unfair.
I've just reduced my hours to just 4 days a week so I can spend more time with my son and I thought it was unfair.

How is that motivating? Do you see a bigger income when your project lands? Who cares about the business. Precious few businesses actually produce anything that makes life better.
