An acquaintance gave me his spare Raspberry PI. What else can I do with this? Any suggestions? I already have a Pi Hole.

Sell it and buy a x86 board instead, past the zero many pi devices are shit next to modern intel chips that take the same or slightly more power idle while doing doing more because of the platform and has the ability to scale and do basic shit like properly encode media without burning to death.
Also pcie and sata ports

That all depends on which Pi it is. I use one of my Pi4's as an SMB server, and the other has Retropie installed so I can emulate Dreamcast and N64 on my CRT.

U're an idiot, arm performs better tdp wise, because risc is just a better instruction set, processes run on half the resources for the same performance as x86 it's much more efficient than nxxx by shekeltel also more open source with no black boxes

Pi is great and most widely supported, the price is lil over the top for no reason other than it's a niche and marketing costs i have many rpi boards for things i couldn't buy off the shelf for my use case also it's commercially widley used for smart appliances so they probably don't care about retail and would price it as high as they can for profit

interesting. what brands do you recommend?
I already own a rpi 3a that I host a website on. is power the main concern or would the rpi struggle to keep up with this many processes?

n100 class intel boards, look into the odroid h4 plus it will do what most people need while having similar power draw but way more compatibility and virtualization allowing you to get more for your buck.

did you setup wireguard vpn yourself or use pivpn?
I'm too brainlet so I used pivpn but was wondering if the learning and effort of the manual wireguard is worth it.

Not the other guy but what are your thoughts on zimaboard? I have power considerations as I only have two outlets available to me and already have a 1000watt pc + two monitors. I want to avoid always going to the fuze box to flip the fuze. That and electrical costs are a consideration as well.

The chipset is too weak imo you can get way stronger boards for the same value pretty much.
I do like the PCIE interface so the chipset disappoints me especially at it's price. What are you trying to build exactly?
