I am using a cheap chinese phone with stock android. Google gets my data and I know it.

You are using an overpriced Google Pixel with an "privacy focused" AOSP wrapper. Google still gets your data, but you keep telling yourself, you are safe.

We are the same.

all phones are made in China. so why not eliminate the middle man/cost for bs branding and buy directly from a Chinese manufacturer?

all officially supported custom rom phones are overpriced bc most sellers are aware that you can extend the longevity of a device by installing third party firmware. Just buy a cheap regular phone with cutting edge android preinstalled. Bought a xiaomi for under 100$ and it runs android 15. I would have paid more than double for a used pixel phone with shitty hardware and an old battery because muh graphene/lineage.

had a j5 2017 model and it wasn't even officially supported by lineage os. Some jeet made a custom rom but I didn't bother since the phone was showing it's age and the battery (~2300mah at full charge) was crap. Modern phones are disposable and aren't meant to last a lifetime no matter what firmware you install on it.

lol no, never buy directly from china itself
because I don't want to deal with the complicated procedures of importing goods
although I don't see a difference between buying from an official vendor or importing

importing usually means the phone you get isnt band compatible or 5G wont work which is the case most the time. Worst part is finding out your phone is blacklisted like they did with Xperia on the Australian networks, not sure why.

Google pays Apple $20 billion to set Google as the default search engine, they wouldn't pay so much if they weren't extracting data to pay for it. Same with Firefox, despite only 2.7% market share that is 2.7% more data they can mine.

The goal is to remove anonymity, free thought, free expression etc. They've been pushing it for a long time through "muh oppression" and "hate speech", but they were unable to get the cattle on the right to go along. Now they are using "muh children" to convince that side of the "fence."
Doomed because retards can't see past a single election cycle.
Plato was wrong. The masses voting with you are already idiots so they choose idiots that can be easily blackmailed, thus idiocy will always prevail. Granted, it's probably a bit of Huxley and dopamine in their causing it at the moment.
