Now is the time to learn hacking. Shitjeets are not capable of maintaining western technology. Not even with AI. There's going to be a lot of funny moments to come.

Why does this country even exist. I'm just glad I got dual citizenship with the UK, I know it's a shitty country too but holy fuck at least you can get a job. Canada is no job unless Indian or a tranny at this point.

It's not that bad, I've had about 5 interviews in the past 6 months since graduating from an MS and am starting an 80k job test automation job on Monday.
Have 2 years of experience in test automation already, 2 of my interviews were for software developer positions, the other 3 for test automation.
My advice is to sort jobs by most recent on linkedin, apply to anything that seems relevant, and constantly improve your resume/get as much feedback as possible. 2008 was much, much worse than this. Good luck.

Unfortunately, you have to fight for the bottom of the barrel at the beginning. My first job was 40k in downtown Toronto, 2 hour commute one way. Look into the consulting bodyshops, contracts seem to be picking up these days. I wish you the best of luck anon, just don't give up.

Just an enormous amount of CS grads in Canada these days, not nearly enough jobs to keep up. Compound that with all the immigration we get from India/China, who typically have advanced degrees and experience, and it's a bloodbath. We have very little in the ways of domestic innovation, so most end up working in finance/insurance/government or leaving to the US. However, for those that are willing to put the time and effort in, there are still good companies paying decent money. Nowhere near at the rate of the US, but if staying in Canada is the only option, they do exist.

Indians get degrees from diploma mills, scam their way into the country via Indian immigration consultants, then have their wages subsidized by the government so they can be hired for less. They're an actual cancer on this nation.

Compromised by the globalist overlordship. Money always wins and it wants endless warm bodies. I'm going to be honest I don't think there's a peaceful way out of this for most of the democratic-republic west, they're all following the same natural heat death to the point where it seems like an inevitability of the system.

Not a single blonde head of hair in that crowd. Fucking sad. No wonder I feel like I'm reunited with my brothers at the gym, at work, or anywhere I see another white man who looks like me.

It's tragic WW2 saw so many whites killing each other.

I usually hear back from the gov 7 months after applying. And 2 months after doing automated interview quizzes and projects with a 'sorry, but this role is no longer being filled'. Sometimes I don't hear back at all.

Thank you prime minister and thank you president trump. Blue collar jobs are for the chinese in china, trade jobs are for the mexicans in the usa, and white collar jobs are for the indians in the usa/canada. We are your doctors, dentists, engineers, programmers. And the leadership supports our takeover.

imagine if they put the billions they spend on greasing immigration into subsidies for trades and manufacturing
would solve the housing crisis, too. how does it make sense to say "we have no money for our strained social services, so lets... bring in more people! that will surely help bring in money!" you're still going to have a deficit of workers in healthcare

There must be some type of reasoning, but then again... I was talking to some old university friends and they've become libertards. Praise immigration. Zelensky did great in his meet with Trump. Don't be sarcastically sexist! They hate Trump for canceling their science DEI boards and exporting immigrants more than other factors.

I've just resorted to free lancing. Sent some cold emails just a few minutes ago. Right now I have a 6 figure job but it's obviously going nowhere so I'm trying to branch out and network.

Hoping to eventually get into the US market to take advantage of some cross border tax strategies. Apparently you can open an LCC in Delaware or whatever and pay yourself dividens taxed at 15% vs whatever the 30-50% that comes off your T4 before expenses.
