>>105944965If we're talking about internet, then you can simply explain with the same post as
>>105944277. Look at reddit, facebook, twitter, 4chan, google, microsoft, youtube, tiktok, etc. They all heavily censored covid side effects and ukraine war narratives. 4chan even censors ukraine narratives that doesnt fit the government propaganda today. Top down censorship is what kills internet discourse.
Then on top of that, voting mechanism kills dissent voices. Combine two and you will create an echo chamber of the leftist policy. Then 2 other external factors play into this. 1) advertising money 2) government political pressure
We know GARM was working with foreign gov in Brazil, Australia, and Europe to shutdown/censor X, an American platform because Musk has stated that he would not censor Trump. This was before Musk tookover. They were already strategizing how to do an ad industry boycott of Musk takeover because of Trump. They boycotted like few days into Musk tookover. There are currently couple of lawsuits and investigations by the US gov ongoing about GARM's anti-competitive behavior, anti-trust issues, and collusion that would break the Sherman Act.
