I already use AI for dev ducking and scaffolding code and it makes me at least twice as fast and it catches a lot more tiny mistakes and/or does the tedious tidying up for me.

Even the AI companies themselves are still hiring devs. I think they’re worried that they’re scaring people off the dev career path and that devs will get expensive again, that’s why you’re seeing these stories lately.

I'm not worried that AI will be smart enough to actually replace me. I'm worried my company's higher-ups will be dumb enough to think it can.

AI will never completely "replace" any job until the singularity (which is in as little as 16 months lmao)
the car didn't replace the horse, the steamboat didn't replace the sail, the sewing machine didn't replace the thread and needle
but it did effectively eliminate the vast majority of them from common life

I feel like this shouldn't need an explanation.
He obviously doesn't really believe programmers are irreplaceable.
He's just a member of Jewish blackmail AI loop cult and wants to push as many suckers into programming as possible to get pay down to wagie level because fuck goyim.
Thankfully, he's been missing for several years.
I hope he's languishing in a cell somewhere.

People who know how to code will be turbo Chad's with ai. But with Indians spreading into the world and the next gen relying on ai more and more coding will probably go to shit within 20 years.

Reminder, Bill Gates funded Wuhan Lab to create the covid virus that killed millions around the world.
He also invested half a billion in BioNTech (covid vaccine maker) just 2 months before Covid Wuhan lab leak became public knowledge.

He was also a frequent visitor to Epstein Island
