if you really only care about word processing or web browsing, you really dont need more. sure laptops have programs and much more versatility, but theyre annoying little shits and theyre loud if you have more than one tab open.
apple and microsoft have the right idea though, putting ARM chips into laptops is probably the best thing you could do with them and its really the best of both worlds. you have the efficiency of a tablet with the space and capabilities of a laptop. gaming laptops will always be total dog shit though

It's a way to get a computer that fits in my purse and has a physical keyboard so I can type on it.
