there are different camps of audiophiles, the more vibes based boomers who like their tube amps and vinyl records, then there's the more objective science engineering types who want the most transparent and accurate rendering of the material, the latter's reasoning is that it's the artists, producers and engineers responsibility to include the desired amount of analog coloration so the listener gets what they get, you're dropping the ball by not understanding the analog sound and that's why your music barely gets any streams regardless of how much you polish your songwriting there's just something about the sound that keeps most listeners from engaging with it

I have my keyboard plugged in VIA MIDI to a DAW, but I also want to be able to talk through my mic at the same time. If I set my mic as stereo mix loopback, then it also picks up anyone who is talking in VC at the same time instead of just my mic and DAW

Pianoteq is having their yearly summer sale. Only 20% off instrument packs but that's as good as it gets I guess.

I don't need any new packs, I can't play for shit lol, but I am tempted. Sorta want to buy the Bosendorfer pack, and maybe the Kawai too, the two newest pianos they sound the best, maybe. My current Steinway and Petrof ones sound old and boring.
