This is what the Galaxy Ultra should be. The S24U was too pointy, and the S25U is too flat like an iPhone. Picrel hits the right balance of boxy but ergonomic.

I had the x3 NFC not sure if the same but went to a x6. x7 might be slightly better but from the reviews I saw battery life was slightly less so stuck with a x6 pro. biggest issue is one sim slot no sd card so keep that in mind.

The battery is good (from 80% to 0 after ~30 hours of watching YouTube and web browsing using the battery economy mode), the camera is mediocre, especially at night, and the phone itself is rather heavy. 120Hz on desktop is only worth it for gaming where the whole screen moves all the time. 99% of the other time on PC you're looking at a static page with a few moving elements, generally text, cursor or video (which is already 30-60 FPS).
On phone 99% of what you do is scrolling content. That scroll animation looks utter dogshit at 60Hz, it's not remotely responsive to your finger's location on the screen. I know because I have a native 60Hz phone with me right now (XZ1 Compact) and it looks awful compared to my modern 120Hz Smasnugg. I could never go back. It's just not fun consuming content, even reading a long scrollable 4chan thread, on a 60hz phone.

Got the 144Hz Moto Edge 20 in Jan 2022 and never looked back to 60Hz. Desktop is basically heaven compared to the mobile world. You can install any OS you want, Linux is compatible with virtually anything you could want unless you're a 0.1% professional who uses CAD, you can use any hardware you want, all technologies are cross OS so you can have your SecureBoot, TPM and whatnot on Linux.
Google goes out of their way to block Custom ROMs with Play Services while Microsoft couldn't give less of a shit and everything works on any Windows version even esoteric ones like LTSC. Fuck, most stuff even works on Linux. No "Windows Service Framework" to be found.
On Desktop, Windows, macOS and Linux are choices. On mobile you basically have NO choice and Custom ROMs are treated like second class citizens where half the stuff is intentionally broken and you can't even choose what hardware to buy.
Instead of dealing with this retarded OS for homos that can't decide if it's for power users or casuals, I'll just buy the new iPhone whatever the fuck it's called later this year. As for the bloatware, I think you can get rid of most chink apps using adb however things break a lot from my experience so its better to leave them alone. Thankfully Xiaomi phones have very aggressive bg killer so most things you disabled from running in the background in the security settings should stay killed and not accessing unnecessary stuff. Just leave the xiaomi and google apps on default permissions because thats where most of the stuff breaks.
Don't use the native internet blocker, I noticed it just enables again after some time.

Prices are almost identical ~$400, they're sister brands, but GT 7T seems kinda better on specs. Though maybe oxygenOS is way better than realmeUI, and it has some handy AI features, integration with Gemini assistant and Gemini Live?

I really liked Nothing Phone 3a ($283), but the vibrations and haptics are definitely worse than in Nord 5, and it's not much cheaper. On the flip side, that's almost 40% overpayment - maybe stick with this and save some cash.

Other options: GT7 Pro, but it’s the CN version, only $472. Or the CN Neo 10 for $283, though that’s probably not the best pick.
