Trannies were fully betting on evangelizing existing developers to scam them into Rust.
But not a single existing developer switched.
So trannies were required to build their own software, and they failed. The Asahi bullshit never got into any usable state and is abandoned now, Hector quit. And the Microsoft guy, who was literally paid to push Rust, quit as well.

Rust in the kernel is pretty much abandoned. I don't have Rust in my kernel, never did.
There is nothing being developed in Rust in the kernel right now that i could name.
