What is there to do? By the time AI is performing jobs better and more efficiently than humans, we aren't going to be discussing backup plans. There will not be enough jobs to employ everyone, and some tough decisions are going to have to be made.

AI being good at programming does not mean we're going to let it access all the DOD and to "see what it can improve" as some would think. even places like google are going to be very carful about what secret sauce they let the AI know, AI could very well decide they suck and it's going to make it own company and put the stupid humans out of business. it isn't as black and white as people think.

You also have never had a job. It doesn't matter if AI can solve coding puzzles or if pajeets have AI. Writing software is not about solving code puzzles and AI is hilariously inept at doing anything with large codebases. Yeah pretty much. Between the legacy codebase in RPG, the "new" webapp using some godawful framework, cloud integration to 2 providers (for redundancy & disaster recovery) and non-trivial business rules, I can't image AI doing half as good as a junior.

I think most confusion about Graphene stems from the fact, that people are confusing security with privacy. Let's assume Graphene is secure. But most people (including me) care about PRIVACY. This means, minimizing your digital footprint. And for this use case, a device like the Graphene phone isn't and can't be the solution, because the data grabbing is happening somewhere else. I don't care, if you can crack my phone with cellebrite. I just don't want to give the corpos my behaviour data. And this can't fix any custom rom.
