Actively filtering or accommodating the mentally disabled in a financially sound way would be your biggest hurdle

Because YouTube has a monopoly on PG13 video sharing meanwhile porn has no such monopoly.
Even if you want to argue that 1 company holds 2/3 of the sites behind the scenes then there still are smaller ones and OF which is completely independent from porn video sharing.

Use an ad blocker. It’s incomprehensible to me that normgroids just willingly watch hours upon hours of advertisements every week. Cattle, born slaves, all of them. 99% of the time. I keep Chrome installed for edge case sites where something is fucked up. Keep in mind web devs are targeting Chrome, it's like the old bad IE days where they only cared about making their websites work good on that heap of shit. Firefox is, you know, reactive about it. Fixing the shit after the fact.

It's exactly like that. I used to use Netscape navigator and then Firefox on release but still needed IE because loads of fucking sites wouldn't work in Netscape or Firefox because they didn't give a shit

For anyone new to Firefox I want to suggest looking into https://github.com/yokoffing/Betterfox

It's by no means a perfect browser and it's not helped by it's shitty default settings either. But it at least is a real alternative versus 100 different Chromium forks.
