KDE has almost no quality control. They don't have consistent and reliable funding like GNOME does; meanwhile they have to support way more features. A bug in KDE only ever gets fixed when it bothers some random autist enough to go in and fix it himself.
It also doesn't help that Qt forces them to rewrite everything from scratch every few years.

Because I have a 4070 super, on Wayland I get constant graphical artifacts, and because I have a 360hz monitor, I have to set it to 240hz if I enable adaptive sync or it'll freak the fuck out.
