Where to Rust
I haven't been here for over a year.
I know the general sentiment is against the language due to the tranny and CoC angle.
What is a young dev to do if he wants to get into Rust?
I come to /g/ for knowledge to circumvent having to wade through the jeetcore slop. I'm not a beginner in terms of programming, but my relationship with FP and things like category theory is rather superficial.
Any good resources for learning are appreciated.

and when you're done with the basics

you don't need more.
if you want real-time support/chat, there is an active "unofficial" IRC community (##rust channel at libera.chat). The lack of avatars is a great feature to keep you focused, instead of carrying a magnifier and chasing online trannies around, like /g/eets do.

The official book is still the best resource.
