Great, so now you have to either buy vintage, manually disassemble the smart tv and remove the hidden camera + mic or go to a projector screen format.

Are you some kind of sexual freak?
You shouldn't be doing stuff in front of your TV you don't want others to see. Just live an ordinary regulated life and then you won't attract attention to yourself.

People using the smartTV software built into their TV is an automatic poorfag indicator
It’s not even expensive. I have an Apple TV 4K I bought in 2017 that I’m still using with zero slowdown. Only update is buying the replacement non-shit remote they practically gave away as an apology for the terrible touchpad one

There needs to be a legal limit to how many ads people can see per time unit. Something made by the UN that has to be ratified by all nations.

One 15 second ad per 2 hours ought to be enough, anything over that is bad for mental health. Advertisers have gone off the deep end and need to be hung from trees.

I visited my parents (who are boomers/silent gen), and they were watching ABC news which seemed to alternate between solid blocks of ads for several minutes straight, and short hyper-emotional news segments that were peppered between ads. There was that "Telly" TV that was free but had a second screen that would always have ads. But really they aren't spying via cameras they spy by looking at what you're watching with "ACR"

Vizio got caught and sued for taking full screenshots but I bet these companies are basically still doing it just with a new terms and conditions that no one reads.
