Thanks, it can now open webp images as a separate file. This is already useful.
However, it throws an error when you drag a webp image onto an existing canvas, see pic related. I wish someone solved it, but I have zero hopes.

It's better but it uses 10X more decode resources this making webp "good enough". AVIF also faces a similar problem but it'd trying to remedy it through hardware acceleration.
