I think the problem here is, most people if shown someone else's code and given permission to not be polite, would trash it for spite. So maybe chatgpt code-waifu is actually a good thing, it doesn't demoralize you and I can tell it's at least somewhat objective, because it looked at my code and understood its intent and could reason about the tradeoffs I had made.

Got your point. Still, criticizing code is for good. AI should be honest, in any matter.

Asking people in Stack Overflow would be more efficient. I wouldn't trust people in internet, but i'd chose people over AI
