If you're using it for anything other than a server, basically fart sniffing.

openbsd/netbsd can be good if you just want a very reliable file server

It's a rock solid server with better networking stacks than Linux.
>>105971000
I'm talking about use cases for regular desktop users, not building commercial appliances. Obviously you can make very solid appliances with it and the license is much more permissive than what Linux allows.
But most people around here who are using it aren't doing that. Best case they're using it because it's fun. It's a neat system and you can learn a lot with it - I did, years ago. Worst case, however, is that they use it because it makes them feel even more elite than Arch makes its fanboys feel because it takes a lot of work to get even basic Linux distro functionality.

I was just making a snarky remark.
If you use it because you enjoy it, more power to you. I loved FreeBSD back in the day. There's an old-school UNIX workflow that most Linux distros have moved away from save perhaps Slackware.
If you use it so you can look down on others who don't use it because it takes so much expertise to use, it's just sniffing farts. Practically speaking, other systems can do most of what it does and more a lot more easily.

Try to register on .is, they ask for hand, arm and monitor, website fingerprinting, Tor shows they have an onion address and yet can't use it, (((misterious admin change))), glorifying violence and (((some high ranking users))) straight up calling for ER in specific places and yet they're never banned (even 4cucks and the sharty bans this kind of fedposting), the (((DHS))) incident, users getting visits from the FBI or the Child protective services, some niggers straight up getting v&.
