>RAID via AMD RAIDXpert2 in BIOS, getting ~14–17 GB/s (expect 28–30 GB/s)
>Corsair 3500X ARGB mid-tower, dual tempered glass, 3× RS120 ARGB fans

>NZXT C1200 Gold ATX 3.1 PSU, fully modular, PCIe 5.0 native
>Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme + Corsair MM100 pads
>subtotal pre-tax: $7,849.88 CAD

should have did a software RAID 0 in windows, but really it doesn't affect loading speed much anyway. most of my loading time at this point is CPU bound decompressing artifacts and other things like that.

yeah the 7590x3d is pretty good, but i heard it can have wonky performance sometimes because the extra L3 cache is on one side of the chip or some shit like that

thats why i went for the 7950x on my previous rig, not sure if it was the ideal choice really. but i know the 9950x3d fixed that issue so i bought it and am very happy with it

7950x and 9950x are made up of two 8-core chiplets for a total of 16-cores. 7950x3d and 9950x3d are special versions of the non-3d cpus with one 8-core chiplet having tripled L3 cache of 96MB.

Nope. nvidia gpus have voltage reading as standard but that's it.
The astral has special hardware to readout the current flowing through each of the 6 pins on the 12vhpwr connector so you can setup alerts through asus gpu tweak or hwinfo64 to notify you if the connector is running way out of spec

That case was a giga cunt to build in btw, so much pre-wiring, everything was such a pain in the ass with the 360mm radiator. Originally I had a Powercolour Red Devil 7800XT for this which meant I had to take the rightmost fan off the radiator to fit the PSU and in the end the fucking thing didn't even have the clearance to fit in the PCiE slot with my memory installed and all the cables in the way so I had to sell that off. Probably gonna replace it with one of the 9060XT, 7700XT, 9070, or maybe another smaller 7800XT, just something that's 280mm or shorter.
I think the worst part was that I've seen builds with the case with 3 fan cards and 360mm rads, just an unfortunate situation ig
