Not a big deal, but I managed to get every game I had working in CachyOS. There is literally no reason to stay on Windows.

>gayme xy works on an OS based on fucking arch and it's terrible kernel, AUR and many other questionable choices with literally ZERO desktop-level security.
>no reason to stick to a more secure desktop solution than backdoored FOSS
At this point, you should stick to tesla stocks.

it's no longer a case of "does x game work on linux?" it's a case of "what's the performance gap between linux and windows?"

How do you become this clueless? Did you have to work on it or were you born like that?
"Terrible Kernel"? Arch has basically vanilla kernel and regardless of what Arch has, CachyOS has completely different Kernel that has no resemblance to what Arch has.

That's not a real question. It's just something people who don't even use that software like to ask.
I used Photoshop and Photoshop Lightroom before switching to Linux but I don't know the answer to the question of whether they work on Linux or not. Because I don't care. Adobe is a shit company that fucks over the customer.

If my actual job involved photoshop lightroom I could continue doing that job on Linux. I don't know about photoshop since I only use that for basic editing which nobody would pay you for.

can your CachyOS run Adobe products? I don't care about your FOSS alternatives, I need to use Adobe products easily, without many complications, as long as I won't be able to install and use them as I would in Windows I'll stick to 10 LTSC.

CachyOS is pointless if you can just install Mint and Heroic and get the exact same performance.
Anonymous No.105983156 [Report] >>105983773 >>105984044

You can't do that, though. Not without a lot of hard work modifying Mint.

I looked up a video to prove you wrong but it turns out there is a small to moderate fps boost running games in CachyOS vs Mint, at least when running them via Steam. I couldn't find any benchmarks comparing other runners, which give you more options than Steam and tend to run better in my experience.

I wasn't thinking so deep. I thought perhaps it had to do with bloatware, but I did imagine a system config that delegated more resources to performance. I'll have to look into that. This might be the ``hard work'' mentioned here: >>105983156
