I haven't bought new audio stuff in a while. Newest toys I own are a FiiO M7, V-Moda Forza, and V-Moda M-100. My stuff still works, but if I wanted upgrades, what should I consider? The fit on the new pos is crazy bad, what the hell where they thinking?

Nozzle is too wide and hurts, plus the 0.78 pin socket is so recessed, some of my cables bump it before making full contact.

To not blogpost any further I'll capitulate by saying that they sound nice, improved treble over oxygen, but the bass quality is lacking, I tried to eq it but I really do feel like the bass on the oxygen was very tight and potent.

Any Space Travel 1/2 users here? What is "game mode" and how does it work exactly? I mean it has an obvious effect on BT latency (latency is basically nonexistent with "game mode" on, I'm not a pro gaymer though so take it with a grain of salt) but why make it toggle-able instead of just always on? Does it have some negative effects of battery or sound quality?

I think something about techs that one can only feel, is the ''massage'' a powerful bass can give your ear, like the air pressure is denser on some iems than others, with a weak iem theres nothing missing, but theres never a density of air literally vibrating your ear. This is I think what I think shills would describe as ''ethereal'' or planar bass, this kinda weak presence, despite maybe adding 20 decibels of bass in EQ.

What causes eartips to develop a reddish hue? Both are the same tips (radius deep mount zone clear), they were kept in the same environment, albeit in different cases. The larger tip inexplicably became colored over time while the smaller tip remained clear. Now I did use the larger tip while the smaller tip remained untouched.

I also did some tests with the Kinera Wyvern, an LCP driver powered iem. I have to wonder... how can yall live with such low fidelity sound? I hope the EPZ Q1 Pro is vastly superior to all of the iems I compared to origin, otherwise im afraid it probably has very low resolution and imaging capabilities.

I'm guessing the culprit here is a bad seal. Try different tips.

Sometimes you can have an "okay" seal that keeps some of the bass but still lets out the lowest frequencies. Generally the longer tips help in this situation.

With bullet IEMs I generally need smaller tips to get the right seal, for over-ear IEMs I need longer tips. The KZ ATE and Blon BL05 need really long tips.
