i created that special character remover because when i burn optical discs it won't let me burn files without removing those special characters from the filenames

I wrote a small script to split long videos in parts if I need to send it somewhere and there's a hard limit on the size of the file
I didn't use AI tho because I'm not black

I don't know how to program either and using Gemini I wrote a python script that accepts a target file and a string pattern and then automatically reads the file and returns every line that matches the pattern, it made my work speed up a lot

I have some programming experience and used one to make a basic little FFMPEG GUI for compressing video to x264 or x265, I like to pick videos from a file picker rather than open command line every time.
It's pretty convenient for simple scripts like that, and debugging basic problems and error messages sometimes.

I've made a bunch, but my best one splits dialogue in a movie either from an SRT file, or using Whisper, so I can use that audio for TTS and STS datasets

This is a good idea. Given how far the modern OS has come I don't know why no large OS manufacturer has a feature like this.
The closest thing is the finder feature in MacOS but it searches every file on your computer for contents that match, you can't just select a single text file

You should just have it text in for the contests for you and skip the part where you are involved as a middleman texter at all.

I have separate machines with Windows and Linux installed, but I have dual booted in the past. I don't think Windows is shitty, I just wouldn't trust it with my personal data and files.
I don't really do any file management beyond the basics on my Windows machine though. It's just gaming/AI so there's not really any need. Not looking for a sysadmin job either so no use to be gained there.

Chat bot related. At first I was just trying simple Twitch bot powered by local LLM. Then I wanted it to be more clever so I added chat messages to database as its permanent memory. Then at some point I was curious with TTS so I added it as well. Last I wanted it to see so I gave it eyes with cheap method that's just a periodic regional screencap lol. Theoretically you can feed it with videos but I think my computer can't handle it so I didn't bother with it.

i used ai as a non coooooder to create a directory viewer listing to process hundreds of thousands of physical catalog entries of media, be it film, audio, etc. it parses new incoming data at a regular interval and the system works well
