literally why isn't this the standard? 15 years ago I thought every smartphone will have this capability, but noone except samsung is doing anything similar, phones are obviously powerful enought to do it, so why not use one device to cover all needs?

I mean that's the point, if you want to use a keyboard and large display while lying in you're bed you can create a laptop shell to house the phone and turn into a "laptop", I really don't understand why people would rather buy three separate devices when one could literally do everything they need except like intensive gaming, but for literally anyone but gamers this would be very convenient

Because even as it's connected to PC peripherals it's still a locked down disgrace of an OS. You'll get what, a blown up version of some half baked office suite made to read and very lightly edit documents on the fly? What are you supposed to do on that thing?
