mpv and mpc-hc can fix 3-2 pulldown, a 120hz monitor doesn't make any of those panning anime shots look better because it's still a low framerate
t. someone who bought a 144hz OLED earlier this year and was expecting that it would be a lot better

Use vrr or sync retard

VRR is not suitable for prerecorded content that needs correct timing.

That doesn't fix anything. Gaming monitors don't have the motion blur that old TVs did so panning shots look choppy no matter what

Theres a way to double the framerate during playback with interpolated frames in between to ease the chopping. Cant remember what software did this but I remember the results were quite good.

>Using the NTSC cope divisor
The HD video spec explicitly includes exact integer refresh rates for common video modes. You're a luddite if you don't use it.

Hello? I'd like to place an order on a 239760Hz monitor please.
