When CEO mean work they mean emails, meetings, ordering their slaves to do stuff, interviews, golfing, exercising, reading books and all that bs. But pajeets and gayservatives believe in this self made myth garbage, because they are emotional retards. But I like Jensen for replacing software developers who produce garbage anyway.

kek, this is what billionaires mean when they say they do solid work 90 hours a week, they "think" about work when watching a movie or eating breakfast and that somehow counts. But you of course are expected to do actual work at your desk without overtime pay to impress your boss enough to get a "satisfactory" in your annual review.

Not all CEOs. Only CEOs that matter are ones that own large share of the company and they are accountable to themselves. Self motivation is the only driver for good CEO. Otherwise, if you're an external CEO with no horse in the game, why does it matter if the company does anything? You get paid regardless

It would be ideal for any founder to replace themselves with a digital clone that can do all the management. So their work is cut by 1/10th while they focus on other things. If you're work driven, they will found 10 other companies and have 10 other digital clones work for them.

you can give em directions and they will spit back a marketing strategy because its all words in correlation with eachother
this is one thing that llms are actually good at (being correlation machines themselves. thats how an llm works)

most CEOs operate under this "why does it matter" and it shows. I have seen many companies turn to shit because they get a cycle of bad CEOs in over a few years to a decade and just end up destroyed by them. A lot of CEOs are midwits too who just have a standard by the book method they just apply to any company who will hire them. They don't think about if it's actually applicable to the industry they're entering into, they just reference one past performance for the time they were personally there where it worked and then hope the company is stupid enough to put them in charge.

What's crazy is even after being forced to resign other companies will still hire them and not even give a shit that they just tanked some other adjacent company.

Thats an absurd leap. LLMs are next word guessers. They don't think at all, they repeat sentences and sentence structures they've been trained on. It costs thousands upon thousands of dollars to generate barely amusing sentences with a datacenter worth of GPUs that can't do basic multiplication beyond 4 digits.

thats not what happens
its all speculation,
in other words:
how much OTHER people want your share
and how they imagine the value of the share will go up

its totally and entirely decoupled from the actual value of the company, or what it does
in fact
60B revenue means nvidia doesnt hold its own shares
which they should
bc you can leverage even that as collateral to get loans
or maybe they dont need loans
bc their actual company value is ~100-200 millies and they earn 600x their value each year
which is what you would expect from a well led company btw

think of it this way:
a company has a welding machine at its disposal
it costs lets say 500 bucks bc its a deluxe welding machine
with their first job they make 3000
and now extrapolate that throughout the year
its expectable that a company does multiple orders of magnitude more in revenue than their actual worth
but thats "hard worth" im talking about
the money liquidators can get out of a company if it bankrupts
thats the value of a company
the 4.2T? thats the shares. completely out of control for the company, and they dont earn a cent on that. or they would have revenues in the bilions
4.2 TRILION market cap may i remind you
if they earn 1% of their market cap thats 40 bilion

Holy retard. 4.2T is the company valuation because it's what people are willing to pay for it, and they take into account assets, liabilities, revenues, growth and everything in between.
For context, you could also have made the same dumb fucking argument 7 years ago yet if you had bought then next year you would have a bussiness that earns as much in revenue as it was valued when you bought. You would have been arguing it was terribly overpriced when in fact it was cheap as hell.

No, it's not. What the fuck are you smoking? Market cap is generally higher than revenues which are higher than earnings. If revenues where just 2x market cap with a margin of 5-7% they would be earning 10-14% of its market cap each year. You would be entitled to a 10-14% per year plus all future earnings, using a very conservative DCF model that would make it share undervalued by 37% to 55% of its actual worth. That's using a 3% discount rate and assuming a rate of growth of 5% for 5 years and 2% for the next 10.
