And don't give me some pair of earbuds I have to "learn" to enjoy, like some odd audiophile shit that's chosen not on how it sounds but how it's supposed to sound. I just want the best sound.

I had Sennhieser MOMENTUM True Wireless 2 Earbuds and thought they were great, then I got AKG n400nc True Wireless Noise-Cancelling Earbuds and thought they were less good but still serviceable.

I got QCY MeloBuds Pro off a recommendation on here a year ago.
Theyre $40 and work well. Noise canceling amd have an eq on the phone app and touch sensors on them. Lots of features for an ear bud. I honestly have no idea how well they compare to more expensive ear buds because its not like im buying eight different pairs and comparing them all. I like them.

I thing I broke my SM4 by pouring spirit into the nozzles. The left ear had a reduced bass response so I figured there must be some wax stuck inside. I poured a tiny amount of white spirit into the nozzles and sloshed it around then left them upside down to drain out overnight. Now both ears have a reduced bass response. Did I fuck them up?

The only slight change I would make is to add a little more bass and reduce the sound of cymbals and hi-hats (not sure what exact frequency this is) by 1-2 db.
