Did you expect me to rewrite it from scratch in C++? I can basically just download the website and get a working desktop app with electron.
>tauri
still webshit. no effective difference other than binary size which doesn't matter.

tauri is far better in terms of number of layers that get spawned
why bloat your memory withanother browser core?
>me plenty ram
its about bus throughtput, data manipulation and cpu time

>>105991668
I doubt performance will be any better for a wrapper like this. There is barely any IPC and almost everything is done in the browser.

How well does krita run on an xfce distro? Using fedora xfce btw.

I draw with Krita a lot but I wouldn't say it's a full replacement for photoshop. Doesn't have corpo color matching or print formatting stuff you would use to actually make products.

for you, but for me it doesn't even opens all I get is a nvoglv64.dll related error every single time

It must be a different driver version. That is a vulkan dll. You might also get it working if you can launch it with the opengl renderer.

GimpCHADs win again.

honestly there some extreme annoyances you just can't get around with this shit. like, it loads super fast, which is great, but one of the things i want to do most with it is just crop some part of an image to use for a meme. problem is once you have your selection rectangle drawn, you can't modify it. it just defaults to resizing the selected area. you have to draw a completely new rectangle, so it's super annoying if you're off by one pixel. in the end it's just way easier to load my ancient copy of pre-pozzed photoshop, even if it takes several seconds longer to load
