You are a designer. You have a brain that likes pretty things.
We are engineers. We enjoy tricking the fabric of reality to do our bidding. We get off to the idea of creating systems and architectures that shuffle and move stuff around precisely how we want, regardless of how abstract and invisible all of it is. In fact, it's almost better when it's all invisible, yet does something useful. You created something nifty, you solved a problem in an elegant way.
