The fact that this is software people pay for is evidence enough that the humans should be exterminated.

>sell business software to manage their processes
>make it so ugly and complex due to germans inability to make good software that now you make the most money with support
Quite genius.
>Sell it to tech illiterate physics phds in management positions

>business software to manage their processes
yeah but like what does it actually do? looking at wikipedia descriptions you'd think it's basically some database table templates and an ugly front end packaged for querying and updating them

what does it do that some backed dev couldn't set up for your company in a couple of weeks?

Pretty much this, but obfuscated behind intentional unneccessary complexity to make it appear professional, so that the user has to pay for support. Think of elasticsearch, where even the developers don't know what the fuck is going on.

Germany is world class in manufacturing, but sucks extremely bad at software. The reason is that the former is about optimization and the second about creation, which germans can't do. They can take an existing idea and optimize the fuck out of it. Let's see how this plays out in the future, because AI are perfect for that.

I use it for accounting stuff so it's really necessary because it's the most simple accounting program to use (at least the GUI version)
The Fiori version is supposedly a more "simple" one but it looks much more complicated to use
Just landed a new job this week and they use this version, I'm so confused
At least the transaction codes are the same but the interface is hideous

You can change the skin back to the classic look. It's still the GUI.
In fiori you don't have tcodes, you use the browser and use the half baked apps.

Hahaha, you imbecile. OpenSearch is literally the pajeet version of elastic, maintained by three pajeets who take years to answer an issue. Classical self taught in middle sized meme companies dilemma.

>Germany is world class in manufacturing
That stopped when they got flooded with butthurt belters decades ago.
And then they did dumb shit like outsource into shitholes.
A Siemens or Bosch household appliance would last for decades. Then they moved production to Poland and now they break within a year, while still being 50% more expensive than the competition.

Germany also stopped progressing in automation over a decade ago.
They use "Digitalisierung" as a scare word "oh no, if we keep automating stuff, all those eastern european refugees would be out of work!!".

No it's not the gui it's the web version too, looked in the settings but there's only a theme option to change the color but it's still like the right pic of the OP
T-code do appears on our version
(I did have the fiori theme on the gui version at another job and that's not it here unfortunately)

>the Internet is still a new thing for Germany
It's even worse: We are regressing in that aspect.
Before 2008, we had our own competition to facebook, webmail (and everything else) and most Germans would spend their time on the internet on German websites.
Nowadays the German speaking Internet is gone.

SAP Fiori is literally better in every way compared to the old boomer version. So much easier to locate things and it's easier on the eye. It doesn't give you headaches like the old design that looked like it was created in 1849.
