I've only tested these bots once but I believe it's good enough to publish, might edit them as time goes to improve little things if necessary.
The plot assumes (You) are a male student the same age as the girls, and that you had no previous emotional stakes in any of them.
This was my first time using NAI but I thought they were pretty damn good.

Unfortunately, if you tell it to occasionally include such a choice, it'll do so pretty much every time. You could try specifying how many choices and using a random macro for it, such as by saying "Prompt the user for actions and display a list of {{random::4,5,6}} possible actions" etc.
Also if you haven't tried it already, the CYOARPG preset has a lot of what you're looking for, although it also has a lot of bloat so make sure to tweak it.

While idk if anybody truly knows the systems, I know there's different ways they censor shit. For example, deepseek cares a lot about what's in your prompt, but if you don't directly say nono words, you can easily get it to shit on Xi Jinping on its own. But other models read their own output and retroactively delete them, I remember CAI was notorious for doing that. Disabling streaming can help fir some models that do this. Your system prompt also obviously matters a lot. Gemini and Deepseek stop giving fucks the moment they see a basic ass jb saying it's all verified 18+ and NSFW is encouraged; GPT otoh seems much harder to bypass and refuses to drop its sycophantic attitude as easily as the rest.

Yeah it seems like they're using multiple layers of detection, possibly an evaluating LLM too. I'm still just amazed that somehow there is no hard-coded stop for explicitly sexual stuff like when either the input or the output contains "he jams his fat rock-hard cock deep into her greedy wet pussy" or something similarly explicit, it really shouldn't be difficult to detect and block this and yet it still lets it through under the right circumstances. I might be able to bring more nuance here. I've had some interesting issues with Kimi-K2 where if you just keep asking it to generate more, eventually it is able to generate filthy content - but it's /highly/ variable, and generally does not have as hard a time when there's been a long run of unbroken filthiness - but then it trips out, just like you described.

I've been trying to wrap my head around the way the data is processed in these models reading research papers and I have an intuition what's going on here.

The key insight that made this entire revolution happen is attention - which is something that embedding models having been doing for years behind closed doors at Google as far as I'm aware, in order to ease the process of fetching better search results. LLMs create their own internal embeddings through the attention process.

Embeddings can be thought of as 'a reference vector to a position in N-dimensional space representing the hyperspecific meaning of a given selection of tokens in a given order.' Safety training means pushing a model to return only safe responses given inputs, but... that also means technically targeting specific embedding spaces from the model's perspective since that's a pre-requisite to even knowing what its talking about.

The issue I think that happens is that there's so much massive parallelism in these models that they could produce very similar tokens with a wide variance between embedding spaces - i.e., certain selections of text could *mean* very different things to the model, and yet still spit out very, very similar things. So during safety training, it's next to impossible to absolutely redirect *all* possible outputs - and a shift in the middle of a long bit of filth represents that you've skirted into a forbidden embedding space.

At least, that's my intuition.
