honestly yes. i never think that im running gnome. the DE doesnt get in the way ever its actually pretty comfy i dont have to manage windows around i just put one or two on each workspace, i dont even think of it as a workspace i just put it on the side...so smooth... no need for pinning taskbar icons or searching through menus...it would be better if they had tray support for legacy apps

How to reduce the title bar size on my laptop? And why does upscaling the default (very tiny) font make everything blurry on high DPI laptops?
I installed Ubuntu (GNOME) for a relative and promised them they would like it, since all they do is social media + browsing + google docs/sheets in browser
The blurry font and slow software store totally ruined their view of linux.
