That is such a noob mistake and shouldn't happen when you're a real company with a periodic update policy (not just for certs but also software and firmware).

Kinda had me worried for an hour or so, but it was nothing. First real outage in 2 years is pretty damn good and it was only for an hour or so. Prior ISPs would have few hours/days off during each winter season due to crashes in electric pole and shutdowns somewhere.
