Huh. Pfft... Nah, I probably think too much of it. It's not like the first Apple Computer is priced at 666.66$ right...? Meh, it's probably nothing.

It really is an amazing tool. And that's what it was pitched as: a tool. This was a different era when computers/phones were still utilities first and entertainment second. Everything got cancerous when that dynamic reversed.

If it were a tool it would evolve to provide as much freedom as a PC, if not more. However, it was designed from the ground up as an anti-thesis of that freedom. A more apt description would be "toy".

All "humanities knowledge" are locked behind subscriptions on sites like ScienceDirect while degenerate content on YouTube and Instagram is free so they can steal your personal data and make even more degenerate content.

You'll find it isn't the phone's fault when you think past your state-mandated childhood conditioning (commonly called "school" for some reason, and administered by - you guessed it - women).

Social media did all that not the smart phone. If it wasn’t for Assbook and Twatter getting a iOS App, people would’ve literally not used their phones and nearly as much, therefore it would not have led to more retarded, social media apps. That is literally the most used type of application on smart phones.

Apple was riding on that convenience train and sought profits regardless of the possible social ramifications of incentivizing dependency on and obsession for a portable device media device.

Think about it, the initial appeal of the iPhone was convenient internet access at the palm of your hand which could also fit right into your pocket. This conveniency extends to all things that access the internet, especially "social media". While I would say social media is a main culprit for the destabilization of modern culture, the advent of the iPhone only helped accelerate it by having a generation of product obsessed consumers buying any and all things made by Apple.

Steve Jobs didn't want any of that shit to happen. He was against letting 3rd party apps run on the iPhone at all until the greedy jews on the Apple board convinced him to do it.

>But other phones did that already.
And other devices such as hard disk MP3 players such as the Creative Nomad Jukebox and flash based MP3 players such as the Rio PMP300 did what the iPod did, but not at the same level of functionality, style, and ease of use as the iPod.

The iPhone was the quintessential smart phone of it's time which combined all the latest features of a smart phone in an easy to use package, making it one of if not the most desirable consumer electronic product of the early 2000's.
