As I've said before, I believe AI can supplement human labor, but being effective enough to replace it anytime soon is a whole different question.

Vending machines are technically AI.
I guess software was a mistake, should've studied EE instead.

EE makes more AI and software than CS, just check who are the people behind AI and tends to be EE

I think the world would be a better place if each computer manufacturer made their own OS and dev kit, and had agreed upon standards and protocols for things like email and documents.
No web shit, no Java, no Linux or Windows, everything gets written in C or C++.

This could possibly collapse the entire tech industry. If your smart there's an opportunity here for startups.

if you play with baremetal practically we are in that state.
ST, Rockchip, espressif etc , have their own RTOS, etc
The problem with normie devs is that they are too focus on trending topics.
For example currently we have a lot of options for edge IA acceleration outside nvidia but the average promptodler is not aware of that.

Excuse me, me and my founder friends at lesswrong firmly believe in the AGI2027 timeline. The quality of discourse on this website is appalling. I'll be heading back to Twitter for more semiological discussion orthogonal to ASI ontology.
