I was using SD ReForge but I'm traveling right now so I don't have my desktop with me at the moment.

I don't mind how painfully slow it'll be, but can I use that same one (or any SD) on an old, OLD Intel MacBook? It's all I have at hand right now.

i use tailscale to access my comfyui instance. i use `tailscale serve http://127.0.0.1:8188` on the desktop and i can access the webui from any of my devices by going to <hostname>.<your tailscale network>.ts.net. it works pretty well except sometimes I'll need to hard refresh the page a few times to get a few of the comfyui extensions to load, rgthree is the biggest culprit.

Flux dev is simply superior. the outputs are clearer, the fine-details are better, and the images are more coherent. training a dedistilled schnell resulted in a lobotomized frankenmodel which can't even learn a single artist tag.

If you care about artist styles and you are using flux dev you need loras too. Chroma won't be perfect but it gets better styles without loras and it works as well as SDXL with them.

Problem with these types of loras is twofold, though: they conflict with literally any other type of conditioning, be it another lora or controlnet. And they suffer horrible catastrophic forgetting, resulting in body horrors for anything mildly out of it's own distribution. Wide and varied regularization may help with a single concept, but it's powerless when attempting a generic style lora.
Other than that, yeah, it looks better than chroma.

Not yet, you have slave mentailty. Empower yourself as a client and enthusiast. If Tatsumaki is your waifu, take control and create your own version without depending on the artist.

I just added an LLM prompt enhancer to my workflow that i feed a simple prompt, lets it generate a new one with a fixed seed, and then sends that to conditioning. The fixed seed so that it only creates a new prompt if my initial prompt changes.

However, sometimes i want to edit the generated enhanced prompt because it missed out on some important detail, or i want to remove something else. The problem is that it's hooked up into a text input of a normal prompt node that doesnt allow for editing, and i want to keep the function where it only runs the LLM if my initial prompt changes, even if i decide to edit the generated enhanced prompt. So i would like a setup similar to what i have drawn in pic related:

The LLM gets my prompt, creates a new one and sends it to a mystery node that keeps it stored, and then sends it to a new node that is able to display it, and lets me edit it, before sending it off to condition.

Does anyone have any suggestions how to achieve this?
