Will 4chan X or any other Chrome Extension ever get updated again?

I used to love the extension and another one for the ease of replying, thread watching etc. It's difficult to even see who replies to your thread these days.

Maybe this will sound retarded, I don't use chrome. But can't you install it using debug or dev options or some shit like that? Or using default chromium?
