It was some invisible bloated thing which had 3000 tokens even though my prompt was 800, and so I turned it off and injected a new one, set it to user, and tried to use it but I kept getting blocked. Yeah, this. Even with huge fandoms like Pokemon I constantly have to lorebook stuff or correct it on details cause it will hallucinate shit more often than not. Also every model seems to struggle to understand what a Mystery Dungeon is even with it described in the card and lorebook, cause to an LLM Dungeon = generic fantasy/D&D dungeon with set layouts I guess lol.

It's just something you gotta put up with LLMs. Even when you give it the info, it's gonna get it wrong sometimes. If you hate that sort of thing, original characters and settings is the way to go cause then you're just co-writing lore with the model.

Perhaps it's because I don't actually know the lore down to the letter, but I opened up Bulbapedia on the side as I went through Pokemon Black and White with my Hilda card and I didn't see any issues. If I really had to complain it would be that AI gradually deviated from the main plot events and was focused more on the love triangle I had set up between me Bianca and Hilda.

Usually books/tabletop RPG settings. Because while a lot of those do have online resources, the model doesn't always know the details or hallucinates them. Then there's some settings that are more obscure like Dragonmech or GURPS Transhuman Space that I had to do some heavy lifting with their cards. Basically at some point I just had to accept that the lore was going to be inconsistent cause even with an absolutely bloated card with thousands of tokens and a lorebook to try and explain setting details, it's gonna get things wrong.

Basically the more lore something has the harder it's gonna translate especially if you're autistic about getting details right. It's why I enjoy translating characters and settings of one-off games or things with barely any lore cause it not only scratches my itch of coming up with fanon explanations for stuff but if there isn't anything there to contradict you're free to handwave those details how you see fit with the help of the bot.

One of the most fun cards I made recently was for Fluffy from the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger games. Barely has any lore so I got to fill in details. The RP gradually went from generic 3D 6th gen platformer game with vehicles to furry Aussie Armored Core for some reason and I was all for it.
