I think it's probably the most important website on the internet. I never see politics on it like most people seem to complain about so I just assume they have a skill issue. The reason I believe it's important is because for creatives there is nothing like it, if you are into drawing, art, music, indie game development, cosplay, anime, whatever then 98% of the people making and discussing that kind of thing are doing it on twitter, going up to 99% if you focus on foreign creatives like Japanese ones

It survived one "mass exodus" and its still alive and well so... yeah, probably sticking around. That network effect.

Its whatever you are interested in, its large enough to auto show feeds that cater to your interest. I get mainly anime/vtuber/hardware hacking content and hardly see politics, but I suppose for others, they see politics, war, etc.

I left Twitter when I realized that I spent more time blocking people than talking to them.
