My current Mint install is about to shit itself, so I'm planning to switch to either Ubuntu or Debian. Which one? I'm not bothering with tinkering, ricing and other shit anymore, I just want it to work.

If you just want to do work, give Fedora a spin.
Seems like Debian 13 releases in 2 weeks, Debian it is then.
