Here, I can't decide which version gens better, 1.0 doesn't always win over earlier snapshots and the single finetune is also better sometimes. But in general, their style reference database while incomplete (i.e. it knows some more artists) shows how fucking raw it is. It sure is a great base model if there's going to be another Laxar to throw some cash at it to finalize, but to be honest now I'm waiting for the RouWei guy to proceed with his llm enabled version of SDXL instead. Because it leverages what already exists, the whole framework of SDXL shit.

In this example it has prompt comprehension compared to lumina, but significantly better composition. What are some ways to prompt in painting style using sdxl tag based checkpoints (pony, illustrious)? Are there like checkpoints better fit for it? Or loras? For the time being I've merely been using "painting \(medium\)" tag, but there's got to be more ways, or better ways to get even better results right? AI advances so fast and I remain ignorant of most of it I feel, barely using surface knowledge.

there are some custom clip text encoders that supposedly use the same token weight interpretation than webui/forge but I did a lot testing and the results were subpar, also iirc webui/forge generates the seed noise from the gpu while comfy generate the seed noise from the CPU, again there are custom nodes that try to emulate it but is not the same

My only problem is that to get good results, you need to use ~1900x1000 size resolutions.

I tried some Wan image loras and at first my results were shitty, then I looked at the example images and they where all much higher res than ~1024-1280 I was using, and when I bumped it up then yes, the same quality was there.

But Wan is slow, and when you need to use these high resolutions to get good results, it's even slower. And when I say 'good results', it's not as if every gen is good, you still have to roll the dice to find the gems as always, and the slower each roll is...

Well, final release is quite close now, I have a lot of stuff to train and gen but at this point I feel like I should wait since any lora will work best with the checkpoint it's trained on, so ideally you want that to be the final version.

99% of the developers of these nodes/models/workflows/etc are ALL piss poor at explaining on how to actually use their stuff. Almost all of them never include a detailed "how to", its kind of "well, you know how to use github and comfy, figure out the rest" sort of vibe.
