First you install Linux Mint Xfce and never look back. Then, you install either Librewolf or Brave, put ublock origin on them and you're all set to go. Using shit like Windows and then whimpering is a choice not an inevitability.

Ublock origin lite still works and it blocks basically the same number of ads. You just can't turn off adblock for certain websites or use filterlists and stuff.
