it makes perfect sense, because gender is actually just a synonym for sex, and it's not possible to be born the "wrong sex". your body is not wrong, we have a psychological issue indicating fed by society.
the only reason "gender" exists as you think of it is because people turned it into an ideology to manipulate others to make money on them, it's in actuality pure sexism and homophobia.
it's very difficult to figure these things out from the position of having that ideology in your head, because it's specifically built on top of issues every person goes through, but gives you an explanation for the issues that are far from true, and are designed to actually prevent you for getting better, only worse and worse untill the only "reasonable" choice left in your eyes is either drugs and surgery, or suicide.

if you actually want to fix your dysphoria, you're willing to listen and try to understand things I'm saying, im willing to talk to you on some messager or over email to try to help you. otherwise till the thread dies but it's been very rare to actually meet someone who doesn't just dismiss me and call me a nazi chud poltard schizo or whatever else label makes it easier to ignore my points.
I know what dysphoria is like. I've had it for 3 decades. I've had it so bad I couldn't look at myself and I couldn't look at women without becoming angry and suicidal. it can be fixed.

gender ideology means that if a man wants to wear a dress they should be a woman. traditional sexism and stereotypical conformism says that if a man wears a dress they're gay sissy and need to man up.
basically both are extreme conformism, both limit self expression, both are oppressive.
the solution is to be yourself and not let society influence your actions, and "yourself" means that your sex is a simple characteristic no more important than the color of your socks. and your personality is infinite. no reason force yourself into labels/stereotypes.
