fact or cap?

As much of a piece of shit failure that cock sleeve is, she's right. Even more right because she would be a direct target of surveillance running for office.
If you're a average joe you shouldn't care unless you're doing criminal shit

>broadcast your audio via bluetooth
>act surprised when told it's possible to eavesdrop
Same shit for wireless keyboards
Anonymous No.106105366
its bluetooth audio. bluetooth is not secure.

>classified meetings on a train
yeah nice job
it hardly matters, it's just easier
Anonymous No.106105501
True, but the average person is "protected" by Bluetooth effective range being caca doodoo. An eavesdropper would need to place their device within a few yards of the target to intercept their signals reliably.
Nothing to worry about unless you're a high value target and have reason to suspect someone might go through all that trouble to listen in to your calls.

True, but no one listens to women so its irrelevant in this context.

Is this still true? I remember back in like 2005 people would joke about your calls getting picked up by someone near you
but I haven't really heard about this issue for a long time

Once again. I am nooticing.

Buy a thirdiephone with a 3.5mm jack, retard.

She's definitely correct. Anything wireless opens up another avenue of attack. How much this matters is really up in the air though.

depends on who's trying to listen. if your shit emits radio waves they can theoretically be captured and decoded, provided they got backdoors into the devices, or zero days for bluetooth shit.

not even thirdie. there's phones with audio jacks with 128gb of storage and 8gb of ram. plenty good for a fucking phone
Anonymous No.106109123
...is Bluetooth not encrypted?
if no, what's stopping people from capturing the Bluetooth signal and just decoding the sbc/aac audio stream?
why isn't this some super popular flipper zero add-on or some shit like that?

It's a fact that it could be observed, but I wonder if it would be any easier to observe than using a directional microphone to eavesdrop.

true that's why we had female SECRETaries in the past so we could conduct secure communication by proxying it through women to whom no one listens.

Aren't wires susceptible to leakage through EMF? It could lead to a weird/wired situation where, if the wireless connection is properly encrypted it could be more secure than the inherently unencrypted wired analog signal

LF needs fuckload of power to emit anything useful. LM AM radio amplifiers had retarded high power so they reach anywhere useful. your 0.0005mW in the wires won't do shit. but who knows with tech these days

Pretty much fact. Bluetooth is essentially an encrypted broadcast. Cable takes the signal directly from source to destination.
