it's also about the context of the channel. if i see something like slowmoguys make a video destroying a crt tv or something, it doesn't affect me like a channel like 8bitguy, whose channel is about learning about old hardware, destroying an arcade tube because he's just not careful with things. like people who watch 8bitguy must have an appreciation for said hardware, so it hurts more when he drills holes into shit that doesn't need it or blows up a unique prototype computer
