tfw i am the IT admin at work and have so far:

>screenshotted hundreds of customer credit card numbers, passports and driver licences
>exported employees password managers because they sync personal Google accounts to their work laptop for some reason
>taken over peoples social media accounts
>acquired nudes of certain female coworkers from their cloud storage
>stolen thousands of dollars worth of equipment that fell off the inventory
>put key logger and screen monitoring software on the CEO and leadership teams laptops
>read every single persons emails
>installed crypto miners on almost every workstation

my manager thinks that the performance of a CPU can be measured exclusively from the GHz number, and threads and cores are meaningless jargon, and makes purchasing decisions based off of that

That's a pretty hamfisted and cringe way to dog whistle. It's much better to use subtle memes and lingo that normies might understand, but won't be able to place. Like if you hear someone IRL say
>"Imagine the smell."
You'll understand that the person got it from 4Chan, but a normie will just think they said a funny joke.

Why'd you connect to work WiFi? Do you have to authenticate with your work login for the work WiFi?

No, it's just that you typed "connexion" instead of "connection".
And I just found that interesting because I'm also French and my building also has very poor connectivity with work Wi-Fi being available but I still didn't connect to it. We have separate professional phones to make calls though.

Just say you accidentally followed a link and got curious and looked around for a bit. You were horrified by what you saw of course. Or say you heard about the Tea app leak coming from 4chan and you wanted to see if people were talking about it on here. There are tons of articles and video essays on 4chan that could spark curiosity in anyone to check it out for themselves. Just make sure to emphasize how bizarre and traumatic the experience was.

Oh, I was a bit scared you somehow found who I was lol
In the building we were it was totally blocked, as soon as you enter the signal would drop to 0 because they blocked it, and it was an interim job (whatever the english word for it is) so I didn't get anything from them other than a laptop

What's sad is outside of X on my phone, there's fuck all to browse at work. Maybe the occasional blog here and there, but otherwise you're going to the depths of hell with HackerNews and g*yddit, both of which are god awful and make me want to close the tab after a few seconds.

They'd only be able to tell you're browsing 4chan because of TLS/DNS. If you're using encrypted DNS and ECH then they would only be able to see traffic to cloudflare IPs.

Depends on the company, actually. Many companies require a special system certificate to be installed on connected devices. Untrusted websites (e.g. most of them besides Google itself) are forced through a proxy server that decrypts the original TLS connection to check the data and re-encrypt it back using the special certificate, effectively working as a MitM.
Of course, it's very unlikely in the case you just connect to your work Wi-Fi with no additional steps, but it's a thing.
