With Wan 2.2 i2v and lightx2v what step values to use in ksamplers?
You can just denoise full 4/4 with low noise checkpoint and the output will not look worse than 2.1 at least. I'd say for dynamics it will even look better than using high noise model first.

How many steps do you take? The quality loss is minimal and loading Flux again sounds like too much for a minimal (and therefore negligible) quality loss. It sucks that nunchaku for Chroma isn't out yet.

The reason I ask is because if you have the "FLUX.1-Turbo-Alpha" lora enabled, then it doesn't matter how many steps you give it, it kinda caps itself at the general quality of 8 steps. A lot of those speed-up loras do that.

You know what would be a really cool feature for comfy? A send to vae feature. Like when you're pretty sure you've got enough steps for that particular image and you can just cancel the remaining steps and send it to the vae.

Comfy’s approach was to simply stash everything in system memory. That was fine for small, SDXL-level file sets, but once we started dealing with 30 GB files they never anticipated, the situation changed completely. I’m not sure whether the developers are paying attention to this. I sent them a report as well, but the status is still unclear.

Check the resolution (width x height) of all images/frames before they reach WanVideoImageToVideoEncode. They all need to have the same spatial dimensions.

If you have an image resizing or scaling node, make sure it outputs all frames at the exact same size.
